So UPC codes fall in the "I have no idea what the hell they are so they intimidate me" category.  As such, I did what I normally do - avoid until it was absolutely necessary.  Today it was necessary and honestly figuring this out was a breeze.  Even more surprising, my conversations with others in the retail industry really illuminated the lack of information on the subject.

This falls in the "Nothing's Ever as Good or as Bad as it Seems" slogan that sits on my desk.

I have though we were 6 months away from launching for over a year.  And with every step I felt like there were two new ones added.  However, we now have a time frame. 

You can't even compare this to our original bottle.  We hope that it will outshine our competitors not only in looks but in how it is engineered and luxurious feel.

 

In recognizing all of the major brands that trust them with their business, it gave us further confidence that we were in the right place.  Not only has this company been in business for a long time but we will be one of their smallest customers - and I think that is perfect - because it means they will be able to handle our volume regardless of the velocity of our growth.

The final question is how long it will take for anti- aging products without SPF 30 to convert in order to be able to make the claims of reducing early skin aging.  My thought is not too long. And it will be a welcome change to the industry.

I will definitely be exploring this further,  it may have been the women of India who pointed this out - but the effects of pollution effect everyone.  If one of the tenets of the Scalisi line is to make taking care of your skin fast and simple - we might as well try and see if we can help take care of counteracting the effects of pollution.

Being environmentally respectful is a responsibility we all share - I do it not because I have to but because it's the right thing to do. So you can imagine my dilemma in wanting luxury boxes but not at the expense of being irresponsible toward the environment.

I needed a non-biased third party who could independently verify both the safety and effectiveness of the products and serve as an advisor going forward on product development, testing etc.
