#MaskMonday: Oatmeal and Yogurt Facial Mask
Here’s how this experience went for us...
Per the instructions - We combined the oatmeal, yogurt, and honey in a small mixing bowl. We made sure our hair was pulled back and had towels ready for any possible drips & globs.
The overall consistency of the mask was gooey & sticky upon application - The oatmeal made it clumpy, the more we applied to our skin the clumpier it got - The clumpier it got the less it would stay on... eventually our faces were covered with it.

While we waited for the 10 mins to pass we could feel the mask harden on our face - The smell went from okay to not so okay - The 10 mins were up and we were ready to rinse!
We rinsed our faces with warm water but found that our skin didn’t feel like the mask had completely rinsed off - We then rinsed our faces again, but this time with a little soap - When we were done we gently dried our skin with a towel. We immediately noticed that our skin was softer and felt more nourished & moisturized!
Overall this mask is good if your skin is in need of moisturization - Not sure that the oatmeal does much but the yogurt & honey definitely take action. One warning - If you get queasy from “not so pretty” smells skip this mask & go for just honey!
